" A spiritual practice is one that brings us full circle- not to a new self, but rather, back to the essence of our true selves."
Meditations from the mat by Rolf Gates & Katrina Kenison
I believe that yoga is for everyone and should be adapted and changed based on the individuals needs and the environment. It is about the journey-not the destination, and you can start now just as you are.
As a teacher, it is not about me and my practice- but about YOU and YOUR practice. I am here as a guide to help you discover your true, pure, authentic self.
Daily life stresses and circumstantial events can cause us to feel like we are stuck, lost, depressed, anxious, and weighed down, but yoga peels away the thick layers we have put on to protect ourselves and allows us to become more "in-tune" with our bodies. It is a powerful method of self transformation- one that seeks clarity, truth, and wholeness in everything. Otherwise known as Radical Self Acceptance. It is a continual process of learning, exploring, and discovering that I would love to share with YOU! Sat Nam
